We recently installed a new security camera system for a customer that had a basic monitored alarm system that had failed to stop the theft of their beloved dogs.
Unfortunately this situation proves that even a good guard dog alone is not sufficient to ensure the security of your home and your loved ones. Burglars will steal anything!
Security expert Simon Elliot had first contacted the home owners nearly 12 months ago and at the time they considered their existing home security system would be sufficient in conjunction with their beloved dogs.
But this turned out not to be the case. Some months later whilst away during the daytime the customer’s dogs guarding the yard were taken. The basic alarm system contained no cameras or outside sensors so there were little clues to who had done this or how it had been done.
Distressed from the loss of their family pets the home owners contacted Simon Elliot to ask for a recommendation on a system that would stop this scenario from happening again.
The solution was an upgrade to their existing system to include four CCTV external eyeball dome security cameras connected to a DVR and off site viewing on the customers’ mobile phones.
This security camera system took just 4 hours to install on a Monday by two of our security experts whilst the customer was at work.
The customer was very happy with the new system and the flexibility they have to go out yet still be able to check on the house.
But we can let you know a happy ending to this story. With some determined investigation the owners have actually found their beloved dogs and have had them returned. So now the new security cameras are being put to good use.
