Young Matamata First Home Owner Burgled

We recently had a phone call from a young first time home buyer who lived in Matamata that had been burgled the night before.

Nothing much had been stolen in the recent attempt but it’s likely the burglars struck issues or were perhaps disturbed and they were likely to return with a plan to overcome the issues they struck on the first occasion.

This is quite a common occurrence, once thieves know of a vulnerability they will exploit it repeatedly until the vulnerability is fixed or they are caught.

This first time home owner was rightly concerned about the safety of their home as they worked nights.

To complicate matters this older home had no landline phone.

The solution was relatively simple, a Bosch Ultima home seuriity alarm panel with three pet sensors covering the main rooms was installed along with an internal and external siren.

To allow monitoring of the home alarm system we installed a GPRS dialler that does not require a phone line but instead uses the mobile network via a sim card.

The security alarm installation was completed in just two hours the day after the quote was accepted which made our new customer very happy that he could now go to work and not worry about his home.

Our security consultant Guy Evelyn did his usual follow up phone call the following week to ensure the home security alarm was working as expected and that the home owner was confident in its use.
