This automotive business customer contacted us late last year to discuss options for a complete CCTV monitoring system that would be able to monitor all situations including customer & staff movements during business hours along with monitoring for after-hours break ins.
The business had experienced a number of burglaries in the past as well as shoplifters on occasion and needed to find a solution as the losses were proving inconvenient.
After a full on site consultation with our security consultant Guy the automotive business decided on a tailored package of a 16 channel DVR with a monitor in comms room in conjunction with 13 cameras internally around the building, 3 external CCTV cameras and a monitor at reception.
As with many automotive businesses the building was a reasonable size which requires a bit more time to install the system than your average home security system.
Due to the business also wanting to make some renovations to the building we worked in conjunction with other contractors over an extended period of time to install all the components of the system whilst the renovations were made. We were happy to do this for the customer so they could continue operating there business and stagger there renovations around business operating requirements.
Once the system was in place it was quickly put to use in identifying a shoplifter and to react to a burglary at the premises.
As a result of our developing relationship with this customer they decided to switch their alarm monitoring from an out of town monitoring station to Sterling, not only because we are local but also it made sense to bring all their security needs under one banner
The customer now has far more piece of mind and to date have seen a decrease in incidents.
