During December we were contacted by a local business that had been prompted by their insurance company to have a business security alarm system installed.
It is quite common for commercial insurance policies to include the need for the business to have a security alarm system and smoke detectors. It makes sense for the insurance company to limit the chance of your business needing to make a claim and from your own perspective you would much rather never need to claim on your insurance as the financial impact on your business and your time is always going to be more then what is re cooperated via the insurance policy.
Our security consultant Guy met with the business owner at the premises and after discussing the requirements from the business perspective made a thorough inspection of the premises before providing his findings and a quote.
As the building had a mono pitched roof it was essential to use a wireless security system with a built in GPRS dialler as there was no phone line on site.
The solution was a RISCO wireless alarm system which included two wireless sensors, remotes, wireless keypad and a wireless external siren.
Upon acceptance of the quote the system was installed several days later in around two hours.
During the installation process Guy worked with the business owner to collect pin numbers and train multiple staff member to use their unique pin code to access the alarm system.
Monitoring of the alarm system is carried out by our locally operated alarm monitoring centre whom Guy registered the customer’s details and emergency process requirements.
The following week Guy made a follow up visit to ensure the pin numbers were being used correctly and that the business was completely happy with the installation and how the system operated.
